A. Assess and Diagnose Dermatologic Conditions
- Assess and diagnose acute and chronic dermatologic conditions that occur across the life span.
- Develop and prioritize differential diagnoses for cutaneous diseases and neoplasms.
- Interpret clinical, laboratory, radiologic, histologic, and pathology findings.
- Perform focused or comprehensive skin examinations.
- Assess patient history, risk factors, comorbidities, infections, infestations, systemic disease manifestations, wound healing, and environmental exposures.
- Collaborate with or refer to other health care providers and specialists when appropriate.
- Assess psychological, psychiatric, nutritional, and aesthetic factors related to dermatologic health.
